Connect Telegram
Bring your bot to Telegram with a bot token and a signed webhook.
Your bot can also serve customers on Telegram. The connection uses Telegram's official Bot API with a signed webhook (secret token) so only your platform can receive your bot's messages.
Step 1 — Create the bot on Telegram
On Telegram, talk to @BotFather and use the /newbot command. Pick a name and a username (it must end in bot). BotFather gives you a token — keep it handy, you'll need it in the next step.
Step 2 — Connect the token in UseFlowy
Go to Integrations → Telegram and paste your bot token. On save, the platform registers the Telegram webhook automatically with a secret token (header X-Telegram-Bot-Api-Secret-Token) — Telegram includes it on every update and your platform validates it to reject requests that don't come from Telegram.
Step 3 — Test your bot
Open your bot on Telegram (search for its username) and send it a message. It should respond just like on the web or WhatsApp. Incoming messages and bot replies land in the Inbox like any other conversation.
Built-in security
- The webhook validates the secret token on every call (403 on mismatch).
- The bot token is never exposed to the frontend.

If you regenerate the token on BotFather, update it in Integrations → Telegram — the webhook is re-registered with the new token.
